Worked closely with photographer Norman Parkinson.
Invented the use of the letter 'V' in 'Vogue', titled on its side, as a symbol, in instances of discontinuation of text,
at the foot and at the top of pages: so that, instead of the phrases: "continued to" & "contunued from", which were in use up until that point in time, since its inception, this 'V' symbol has been in use, as: e.g.: > 123 & < 101
Fortnum & Mason
Conceiving, utilizing and establishing the famous ‘Fortnum & Mason’ Clock, depicting Mr Fortnum and Mr Mason, as a symbol, for all F&M ‘own brand’ products, instead of the Royal warrants.
Applying the 'Fortnum & Mason' Clock, in its symbolic form, to non-food merchandise, e.g.: kitchenware, oven-to-tableware.
